DJ Theory Test

DJ Theory Test is the electro alter-ego of Jackson Taylor, more commonly known as Deadman Bed. His early tracks began as experimentation on the Playstation Music package. This culminated in the EP Can Of Think.

In January 2008 he completed Subterfuge, his first full length record under this moniker - created using Apple's Garageband music application. Despite starting off merely as a vehicle for him to escape from real life it evolved into a diverse and rich collection, more mature than Can Of Think in sound and arrangement. Fear not however, the playful side of DJTT is still intact - as demonstrated by lead track "Martin Sheen Is A Tin Machine". Artwork was provided by Megan Faye.

The first full length from DJ Theory Test sees him graduate from the somewhat jokey territory of Can Of Think into a more serious affair, albeit with insincere-as-ever titles. It veers from straight loop based electronica to doom-pop via techno, as heard through the ears of a man whose record collection is 90% rock music.
